AG Steve Marshall announces a new lab for fighting cyber crimes

State Attorney General Steve Marshall announced Wednesday the creation of a cyber crime lab in Alabama.

Marshall held a news conference to detail the new Montgomery facility.

The cyber crime lab will provide law enforcement officers with necessary tools in finding and combatting offenders in the digital world.

Marshall says this is an important step in maintaining public safety as crime, by way of technology, continues to grow.
